*The Chairman of The Board, Mr. Sinatra provided our intro, Days Of Wine And Roses
the flip-side being Days Of Whine and Neurosis(?)!

Today's Transmission was inspired by my great day at the 2016 Boston Wine Expo, celebrating 25 years of  wine, food and culture. The event which continues today, February 14th at the beautiful Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center, gathers together over 200 producers and nearly 1,800 wines from around the world. I obviously could not sample every vintage available for tasting, or I would have been sleeping under one of the tables! On the top of my list was Predator, a Cabernet Sauvignon from California, but a special pop of the cork goes out to the wonderful offerings and hosts of Chile's Batuko, Chateau Lastage from France and Troublemaker also from right here here in the USA!

Not interfering with the non-stop swirling and sipping, my palate was tantalized by bits and bites of amazing tastes from both Boston area restaurants and food companies near and far. Favorites include all five of the samples provided with a smile by the family run Fortuna Sausage and the fresh and delicious sushi creations of Fuji at Kendell! And don't get me started about Smackadoodles cinnamon buns - highly addictive!

Top all that off with interesting and entertaining seminars with a wide-range of topics and the Dueling Chef's Stage - where I caught Ming Tsai (of Blue Ginger and Blue Dragon fame).

The best part is that it all benefits deserving causes such as this years major charitable benefactor the Tufts Medical Center's Summer Camp Program for Children with Disabilities.

A perfect Valentines Day destination, especially for troublemakers like me and you.
Go today or put it on your calendar for next year!
