*Funny How Time Slips Away was originally penned by Willie Nelson and it showed up on his 1962 debut And Then I Wrote. The right Reverend Al Green funked it up on the amazing 1973 release Call Me and then he joined forces with the wonderful Lyle Lovett for a remake on the Country Chart topping compilation Rhythm, Country and Blues - a duet that earned them a Grammy in 1995. We featured the version by that dynamic duo in today's Transmission.
